Lights of Houston Artwork
Featuring photographers Matt Crawford & Che Rickman
These are the light Paintings by our wonderful guests!
June 27th – June 28th – 2014
In preparation for the event, Matt, Che and several members of the Brazilian Arts Foundation have been collaborating to produce an arts exhibit in the streets of our great city of Houston. The show involves movements that come from different Afro-Brazilian dances as well as the Brazilian martial art of capoeira. They are captured, brought out of the darkness and frozen in time, by light painting and the wonderful photography techniques used by Matt and Che. It has been a great experience to create, participate and collaborate by expressing the vibrancy of Brazilian arts through light and photography in no better location than our city’s landmarks and neighborhoods. We would love to have you come and be part of our interactive light painting event, where you will have the opportunity to play with light painting and to create your own images.
